ECPA invited Ms. Liyuan Xing, who is currently an Erhu performing teacher of Shanghai Conservatory of Music,
to give a workshop for the String section members on October 25, 2013. Ms. Xing held an Erhu Solo Concert on October 5th
2013 at Muttart Hall (Alberta College). During the workshop, Ms. Xing introduced lots of experiences how to act a
good role of the whole orchestra and directly taught the members one by one to solve their problems. It is a real unique
opportunity for our string section members to enhance their performing skills.

來自中國上海音樂學院的青年二胡教師，二胡演奏家邢立元女士上周五晚上在愛城民樂團排練廳為胡琴演奏團員作了一次胡琴示範教學講座。
邢立元于2013年10月5日晚剛剛在Muttart Hall (Alberta College)舉辦了一場個人獨奏音樂會，我團部份團員已親臨現場觀摩學習，
此次，便特別邀請她來樂團為我們的胡琴聲部團員做一個專題講座交流。講座中，邢立元憑著多年在各個專業音樂團體擔任首席演奏的經驗，
對胡琴樂器在民族樂隊演奏中需要注意的一些重點、難點介紹了她的很多個人體會與感受，同時，與愛城民樂團團長邵建平女士一同示範講解
小組與樂隊合作中如何處理聲部之間的關係、角色及音樂氣息等問題，最後對每一位到場的團員直接做一對一的演奏指導，對他們感興趣的問
題及演奏中的難題都一一解答，與我團的二胡聲部團員做了一次很有意義的指導與交流。
